The Infinity Room. Yayoi Kusama's infamous Infinity Mirrored Room. That was the goal..but the goal was not achieved T__T I've been dreaming of getting to experience the Infinity Room since it's initial installation at the David Zwirner Gallery in NYC back in 2013. Naturally, when I heard it would be the inaugural installation for the opening of the new Broad Museum in LA, I had to make a trip! Sadly enough, it's quite a game of luck as the installation takes reservations that are first come, first serve and I did not make the cut on my first trip there. (I have pre-reserved tickets to go again in the new year so it's my mission to see this installation before it leaves in February!) See the info below describing this infamous piece :: [excerpt from the Broad Museum's website]

Yayoi Kusama’s Infinity Mirrored Room—The Souls of Millions of Light Years Away

Yayoi Kusama's Infinity Mirrored Room, a mirror-lined chamber housing a dazzling and seemingly endless LED light display, will be featured in the inaugural installation. This experiential artwork on the museum’s first floor has limited capacity, accommodating one visitor at a time for approximately 45 seconds, and will require a separate free timed ticket, which general admission ticket holders will be able to reserve after arrival at the museum.
All that being said, there was plenty more to see at the Broad and see I did! Here are some of the people+pieces that caught my eye.   My Broad Museum #ootd featured some awesome creepers from T.U.K that I snagged from Wasteland. Also from Wasteland I got this cool snowfall long sleeve top from Rehab. (Clearly, I love finding pieces at Wasteland.) For the LA fall/winter season one of my favorite purchases are these awesome black leather culottes from Zara!

Isn't it?

Side note: This Plum, Please lip color from the new Maybelline Lip Studio Color Blur line is my winter go to for my lips!
Last but surely not least, Aly created a great recap video of our Broad Day. This is an exciting museum addition to Los Angeles. For those of you visiting and/or for those of you who live here it is a great treat to be able to have free admission to view all this artwork. Let your sights be stimulated!
